Well, I did check the garden feeders a few times today but
no mega rarities showed themselves amongst the House and Tree Sparrows.
After a bright start today ended up being foggy and a trip
to Maridalen revealed only a few birds. I discovered why one of the feeding
stations hasn’t been that productive recently – it was empty for sunflower
seeds. I filled up and an hour later there was a good selection of birds. Five
species of Tits with Crested (toppmeis) the best, Treecreeper (trekryper), Nuthatch (spettmeis), Great Spotted
Woodpecker (flaggspett) and Jay (nøtteskrike) ensured lots of life.
