Diversity

In the garden this morning singing Blackcap (munk) and Lesser Whitethroat (møller) ensured a good start to breakfast. I also heard the male Redstart (rødstjert) from the garden but he seems to keep himself to a very small area just 100m from the house and not stray from there. Interestingly it is a similar area that previously has held Pied Flycatcher (svarthvit fluesnapper) although there seem to be none there this year.
Today was Biomangfolddagen (biological diversity day) at Fornebu and there were lots of activities for the kids. We took a canoe trip and I was able to get close photos of some of the birds present.
Common Tern (makrellterne)

Eider ducks (ærfugl)
