Just a short birding trip
squeezed into today during the snow showers. I briefly visited Frognerpark
where the Iceland Gull (grønlandsmåke) was showing well and in Maridalen five
Goosander (laksand) have now arrived.

The Mallard (stokkand) won this bread fight with the Iceland Gull and Herring Gull having to accept defeat |

2nd winter Iceland Gull (grønlandsmåke) |
 |
This dark eyed Herring Gull had a definite Caspian feeling about it... |
 |
... but this wing pattern says it is just a Herring Gull with a dark eye |
