First real avian sign of spring

I continued my tree survey of Ekeberg today and on arriving in bright sunshine I heard a Skylark flying over. This was my first real migrant of the year and very fitting that it turned up on 1 March which is officially the start of spring. Also a few Blackbirds rooting around in the very recently exposed leaf litter gave the impression of being new in and a Wood Pigeon over the garden in the afternoon was also new for the year.
a "new" Oslo will soon rise along the waterfront
No bird pictures today but an atmospheric picture of the "new" Oslo that is rapidly rising through the mist.
