BIRD GUIDING AROUND OSLO

Briefly

What with falling snow and a need to get my thoughts from yesterday on to paper, or rather a hard disk, I only allowed myself a brief visit into the field today.
Highlight was a male and two female Long-tailed Ducks on the fjord off Bygdøy. Long-tailed Ducks (havelle) are rare in Oslo and adult males even more so but unfortunately they were far too far offshore for any photos.
