A tale of two owls....dipped

Today didn't turn out quite as i had intended. Yesterday there had been Hawk Owls (haukugle) in both Oslo and Akershus which I couldn't go for. Today therefore was going to see me finding both birds and taking marvelous photos of them. Well, neither of these owls showed and I didn't manage to find one of my own searches other places. Compensation came in the form of two flyover, but heard only, Pine Grosbeaks (konglebit) and a single distant Great Grey Shrike.
Not quite the result I had envisaged, but there is always tomorrow....
