Maridalen
Teachers strike again today but the girls liked the idea of going to Maridalen. It was quite chilly today with a northerly wind blowing but we saw all the good birds: Red-backed Shrike (tornskate), Wryneck (vendehals), Common Rosefinch (rosenfink) heard singing and the Tawny Owl (kattugle) which allowed me my best pictures of him so far.
